Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center represents the first time in half a century that Stanford has relocated multiple academic and related clinical activities away from its main academic campus.
Facts About Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center
- Size: 360,000 square feet
- Medical Facilities: 96 exam rooms, 3 MRIs and 3 CTs, along with 6 operating rooms designed for the increasing number of surgical procedures that do not require hospitalization.
- Clinics: All outpatient services for Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, Dermatology, Sleep Medicine, and Pain Management. Extensive diagnostic imaging services and equipment also are available on-site. And a new Digestive Health Center also is being planned, as well as a weight loss center.
- Medical Staff: More than 100 Stanford faculty physicians from the School of Medicine will have offices and clinics at the new Outpatient Center.
- Parking: Ample free parking, nearly 1,175 spaces in all, is available on site. There also will be a valet parking service for use by patients and visitors at a charge of $8/day.
